Assist the Front Office Manager in managing the Front Office operations to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Ensure that the arrival, departure, and all other guest contact are conducted in an efficient and friendly manner.
As a member of the Central Accounting Office, the Centralized Staff Accountant will work collaboratively with other members of the finance team and will have primary responsibility for preparing monthly financial statements for various operating entities of HEI Hotels & Resorts. Supports multiple hotel operations and administrative departments in a wide range of accounting and financial reporting and analytical activities. The position is accountable for processing Accounts Payable and understanding the procurement system and will assist with processing the Daily Income Journal and provide additional accounting support as needed. In addition, the Centralized Staff Accountant will prepare certain account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Plan and manage the Restaurant, Room Service and other food and beverage outlets as appropriate in order to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
Serve guests in hospitable manner to ensure positive guest experience during arrival and departure.
Assist guests with arrival and departure from hotel, while providing positive guests experiences.
Oversee operations of the stewarding area. Wash and sanitize pots, pans and other Kitchen utensils/equipment according to Hotel specifications and standards. Clean and maintain equipment in Dishwashing/ Pot washing/Kitchen/ Cafeteria/ Compactor/ Storage areas. Set up wares for Banquet functions, retrieve and wash soiled wares, transport supplies and food to Banquet service areas and assist the Kitchen with plating up of Banquet meals. Manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Responsible for soliciting new group sales accounts, entertaining, and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals in rooms, food, beverage, and room rental.

The ideal candidate for this position has a basic knowledge of hand tools and residential repairs with a desire to learn all aspects of general maintenance. A background in apartment punch outs, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, or electrical is beneficial but not required.
Maintain all building related systems and the building envelop to ensure the safety of hotel guests, associates and vendors. Ensure compliance with company Engineering Assumptions/Culture, preventative maintenance programs and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Mission Vision and Values as well as all Building/Fire/Health Department codes. Maintain building complex as energy efficiency as possible constantly looking for ways to save energy.
