The Rooms Manager-in-Training Program is a fast track career development opportunity for recent college graduates. The Rooms MIT will spend 6 months immersing themselves in both the Front Office and Housekeeping departments. Maintains the cleanliness and safety of guest corridors, elevators and all assigned areas of the property hotel guests, associates and vendors.
Supervise the night audit operations to ensure the maintenance of financial controls and compliance with hotel standards. Coordinate with other departments (i.e. security, housekeeping) to ensure quality service is provided to all guests.
Maintain all building related systems and the building envelop to ensure the safety of hotel guests, associates and vendors. Ensure compliance with company Engineering Assumptions/Culture, preventative maintenance programs and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Mission Vision and Values as well as all Building/Fire/Health Department codes. Assist Stewarding Supervisor and Restaurant Outlets in the cleaning and organizing of the Food and Beverage Outlets.
Provide guests with nail treatments as advertised by the spa and excellent guest service to support the property as well as the brand positioning.
Prepare food of consistent quality and assist in kitchen functions.
Assist guests with arrival and departure from hotel, while providing positive guests experiences.
Ensure the arrival, departure, and any other guest contact experiences are conducted in an efficient and friendly manner.
Administer the activities and programs to guests offered by the Recreation Department with a warm and courteous attitude while maintaining a clean, safe, and fun environment.
