Maintain an attractive display of food on hot and cold buffets in our newly renovated atrium restaurant Versailles. Work closely with kitchen staff and cooks to maintain an adequate supply of food based upon consumption. Warmly greets guests in the dinning area. Restock all dishes and utensils as they are cleaned. Maintain a clean buffet line and buffet area at all times. Breaks down buffet and puts away food and dry goods in their proper location. Table bussing as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
Support the Front Office in providing superior guest service by fielding all guest issues and requests received by telephone with the goal of addressing and resolving any problems in an efficient and timely manner.
Plan and manage the kitchen staff in the procurement, production, preparation and presentation of all food for the hotel in a safe, sanitary work environment which conforms to all standards and regulations and achieves profitable, competitive, quality products.
Ensure guest service standards of the guest arrival, departure, and any other guest contact experience are met through optimal training, staffing, and supervision of labor, efficient management of operating supplies, and proactive monitoring of guest service scores and comments.
