Come join our team as the culinary leader of The Westin Cleveland Downtown. This is a full-time on-site role. The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of the hotel, including our banquet events, our restaurant Masa & Agave and in-room dining. Key to this role are menu planning, kitchen management, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality dining experiences for our guests. This individual provides inspirational leadership in the culinary preparation, a love to train ane mentor our culinary team and a passion for the result for our guests.

Responsible for total room, banquet, catering, and room rental revenue, yield strategies, implementation and accountable to a market performance and meeting budget, forecast, and optimal business mix targets. Strategies to include market mix, pricing, status, and direct sales. The development and solicitation of business from all markets to ensure the necessary advance bookings needed for a successful and profitable operation for the hotel.
Lead, supervise, and direct the operations and financial activities of the hotel. Safeguard the asset. Help create and implement the culture of HEI Hotels and Resorts on the property level for the associates and guests.
Ensure guest service standards of the guest arrival, departure, and any other guest contact experience are met through optimal training, staffing, and supervision of labor, efficient management of operating supplies, and proactive monitoring of guest service scores and comments.
Assist the Front Office Manager in managing the Front Office operations to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Ensure that the arrival, departure, and all other guest contact are conducted in an efficient and friendly manner.
Manage the day to day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods as directed by the Outlets Manager. Direct the day to day operations of the bar operations.
Provide guests with treatments as advertised by the spa and excellent guest service to support the property as well as the brand positioning.

- The doorperson is the critical first impression of the hotel, and therefore is empowered to create memorable guest experiences. The door attendant serves guests in hospitable manner to ensure positive guest experience during arrival and departure.
Maintain the building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates and vendors. Provide Housekeeping Team direction and support.
The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.
Oversees the Front Office/Guest Services Department. This position acts as a liaison to the Front Office Management and all aspect of Front Office Operations to ensure profitability, cost controls, and quality standards to ensure total guest satisfaction. Provides leadership and guidance to all Front of House team members to ensure consistent quality service is provided to our guests.
Support General Manager in managing all aspects of the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Laundry, in order to achieve the guest satisfaction, operating and financial goals of the Owner and Corp team.
