Assist Banquet Manager in the serving of guests during banquet functions to ensure positive guest experience.
This energetic individual will be responsible for setting up banquet tables to meet food and beverage banquet function specifications. Respond to guests in a friendly and timely manner. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation. Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas. Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships. Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
Must have excellent communication and problem solving skills. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to work flexible shifts depending on business demands. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift at least 25 pounds.
Six months of previous customer service experience required. Previous experience in an upscale hotel/resort food and beverage operation is preferred but not required.
